Bactronix of Colorado Understanding Disinfecting

UNDERSTANDING DISINFECTING

The key to successful disinfection is understanding Microbial Control and the Bionomics of a building. Our Bionomic Specialists are trained to assess the level of contaminants such as mold, bacteria, VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds), viruses, and allergens in a building and to develop a remediation plan appropriate to your location. Our products are Eco-Responsible, Hospital Grade, and EPA registered.

Difference between cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting

  • Cleaning removes dust, debris and dirt from a surface and may not kill the microbes
  • Sanitizing reduces the microbial load (bacteria, mold, viruses, etc.) on a surface
  • Disinfecting destroys and inactivates microbes

TESTING

As a science-based microbial control company, we first conduct a Bionomic Assessment to evaluate the environmental conditions in buildings that can harbor microorganisms. We utilize various different testing methodologies to determine what is causing your problems, then adjust our treatment plan accordingly. After treating your location, we test again to prove that the Bionomic levels have been reduced to a safe range.

TWO-STEP BACTRONIZING PROCESS

Bactronix has developed the exclusive, antimicrobial “Bactronizing Process°” to eliminate dangerous bacteria, viruses, mold, fungi and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Our innovative disinfecting technology is matched with high-performance electrostatic delivery systems to achieve 100% surface coverage for thorough disinfection and sanitation operations.

BactroKillDisinfection

The first step in the Bactronizing process is to apply the BactroKill Disinfectant. BactroKill is an environmentally responsible disinfectant stabilized in water. It seeks out and physically kills bacteria, mold, and viruses through a mechanical action that dismembers the microbial cell into parts. The process does not produce by-products or VOC’s. BactroKill is an EPA registered, hospital grade, bactericide, fungicide, and virucide that is also highly effective against SARS-CoV-2. It also eliminates odors and removes allergens.

BactroKill is applied through an advanced electrostatic delivery system to ensure 100% coverage of the intended area. A “Surface Friction” is created that weakens and ruptures dangerous BIOFILM, allowing the proprietary agent to infiltrate the CELL ENVIRONMENT and destroy microorganisms. By breaking through the BIOFILM, entire colonies of mold and bacteria are eliminated to disinfect better than competing products.

BactroBlockProtection

The second step in the Bactronizing process it to apply BactroBlock. BactroBlock is applied through the same advanced electrostatic delivery system to ensure 100% coverage of the intended area. It is engineered with an organosilane that is stabilized in water, to coat porous and non-porous surfaces. It is a patented, EPA registered revolutionary product that is a new approach to providing long-lasting antimicrobial protection.

BactroBlock establishes an eco-responsible “Microbiostatic” polymer coating of carbon spikes that provides antimicrobial protection between disinfecting and sanitizing operations. This nanotechnology physically kills microorganisms that come in contact by impaling them on the spikes. This process has residual efficacy that inhibits the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew, fungi, and algae for extended periods of time.

Odor Control

An additional benefit to disinfecting is odor control. Our Bactronizing Process eliminates odors at their source and provides lasting residual value. Our process is effective against odors such as tobacco smoke, pet odors, cooking odors, sweaty clothing, mold odors, rugs and carpets, and body odors.

Examples of facilities treated for odors include: Homes, Pet-related facilities, bars, restaurants, nursing homes, school buildings, vehicles, gyms, and hospitals.
